This winter has been a blast for Amelia and Wyatt but tougher on Andrew, Liz and crew as we dealt with caring for our animals in difficult conditions and getting our tractor out in snow, ice and mud. We are ready for warm weather and lots of baby animals in coming weeks!
In February, Andrew and Liz did escape the snow and ice for a few days to attend Cochon 555 Miami for the third year in a row. This year we worked the the amazing Dena Marino of MC Kitchen. What a great experience!
Cochon DC is on the horizon this month. We'll be working with Mike Friedman of The Red Hen and are hoping to earn another trip to the Grand Cochon finals in Aspen this summer. We'll also be conducting a butchery demo with our custom butcher Marc at Cochon Philadelphia in May. On April 7, Marc will be joining us for a whole animal butchery demo at the amazing Market Table Bistro right in our home town. Marc is truly a master, and this event is a must for foodies and locavores.
Our Winter CSA was a great success. Sign up is now available for our Spring Gourmet Meat CSA, which includes seven bi-weekly deliveries.
